Hybrid QA/QC Leader (mainly Automation Test)

As we embark on a major project in enterprise-level accounting solutions, developed collaboratively by our teams in Vietnam and Japan, we recognize the pivotal role of a QA/QC Lead. We are seeking a candidate with solid testing and interpersonal skills to join our English-speaking team at Money Forward Vietnam. This is an opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our company's products, which are currently serving millions of users. This position offers the opportunity to work with a partner team in Japan and supervise several QA members based in Vietnam and Japan.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor development team members regarding QA activities, guiding the project team to ensure successful and high-quality product deployments.
- Develop a comprehensive QA strategy for the project that addresses all critical quality characteristics, prioritizing automation over manual testing to enhance efficiency and minimize defects.
- Continuously improve quality processes and activities by implementing early testing practices, including Shift-left testing, across the team and project.
- Analyze product requirements and design documents, contributing expertise to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation.
- Assist the development team in implementing mutation testing tools to enhance unit test quality, and provide visualization of results using graphical tools.
- Design test cases based on a deep understanding of requirements and effective testing techniques.
- Conduct essential testing activities from task initiation to delivery, tracking and managing defects as they arise.
- Review and provide feedback on team members' test cases to ensure thorough and consistent test coverage.
- Work as a hybrid QA, developing automation test scripts for assigned projects.
- Continuously improve workflows and share best practices across the team.
- Generate new ideas and contribute to the development and growth of the QA department.
- Provide support, conduct reviews, and offer necessary training to team members.
- Standardize project data and create an automated dashboard to track and manage the progress, status, and quality of the project.
- Build and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics such as automation coverage, trends, and performance results.
REQUIREMENTS
- +8 years of experience in web testing
- Good English communication and documentation skills
- Solid skills and knowledge of testing processes and techniques
- Experience in test automation with any frameworks, any programming languages
- Experience in API testing with Postman, Playwright or other tools
- Experience in working in cross functional or agile teams
- Experience in working with CI/CD, integrating automation, performance to CI/CD
- Familiar with issue and test management tools like Jira, TestRail,...
- Familiar with CI/CD tools like Sonaqube, Jenkins, jmeter, K6, Grafana
- Great interest in testing, open-minded and able to self-motivated
- Experience in performance testing or security testing
- Experience in mutation testing is a plus
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certificate is a plus.
