Senior QA QC Automation Tester for CQO office (Open for Expat)
Mission
As a Software Engineer on the Chief Quality Officer (CQO) team, you will design, build, and evolve internal quality-engineering tools and frameworks that raise product reliability and accelerate delivery. You’ll combine hands-on engineering with applied research to introduce pragmatic, scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly into our software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Build quality platforms and frameworks that standardize unit, integration, E2E, performance testing across multiple products.
Develop AI-assisted tool to improve coverage, reduce time to feedback and increase the productivity
Prototype and validate new approaches through proof of concept, graduate successful ideas into production-grade.
Engineer for scale and efficiency ensure tools are reliable, observable, resource-efficient and suitable for large, parallel test execution
Optimize performance of tools and pipelines to minimize execution time and infrastructure cost.
Partner cross-functionally with QA, SRE, Security, and product engineering to understand needs, prioritize features, and drive adoption.
Track and report quality metrics (coverage, defect trends, CFR, MTBF/MTTR, p95 latency, error rate) via dashboards and concise write-ups.
Research emerging technologies in quality engineering and recommend practical adoption paths.
Qualifications
Required
Overall Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in the Quality Assurance field.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a product mindset.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java/Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript/Node
Experience building developer tools, test frameworks, or internal platforms; familiarity with version control and CI/CD.
Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge equivalent to an ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Business-level English proficiency, with enthusiasm for working in a global team environment
Demonstrates strong ownership by proactively managing assigned tasks from start to completion
Preferred
Hands-on experience with automated testing (web/API), mocking/test data management, and parallel execution.
Exposure to static analysis and code quality platforms (e.g., SonarQube) and observability stacks (e.g., Grafana/Prometheus, Datadog, or New Relic).
Performance testing at scale (e.g., k6/JMeter) and reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets).
Familiarity with security testing (SAST/DAST, dependency scanning) and cloud-native environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Background in machine learning or applied AI for quality engineering is a plus.
