Senior Mobile Engineer (Android, Kotlin)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing mobile applications for the Android platform and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-performance apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

• Maximize team performance through development process improvements.

• Propose and implement improvement measures based on data utilization and hypothesis verification through log analysis.

• Choose appropriate technologies and architecture designs in response to rapidly changing situations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience as an Android app engineer (6 years is preferable).

• Experience with MVVM model.

• Knowledge of Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines.

• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.

• Experience with unit tests to improve software quality.

• Experience with code review.

Must-Have

• Experience with the Android software development lifecycle.

• Motivation to learn a new programming language.

• English skills for business.

• Excellent teamwork skills.

• Interest in becoming a playing manager in the future or in management.

Nice-To-Have

• Experience with clean code and readable code.

• Experience in iOS & Flutter development.

• Experience with using GraphQL

• Experience with developing Web APIs

• Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to dive into complex code/infrastructures and find the root cause.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders as well as external customers.

• Shipped one or more apps in the store.

• Practical experience in team development such as Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
