Senior Mobile Engineer (Android, Kotlin)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing mobile applications for the Android platform and a passion for creating user-friendly, high-performance apps.
Responsibilities
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
Maximize team performance through development process improvements.
Propose and implement improvement measures based on data utilization and hypothesis verification through log analysis.
Choose appropriate technologies and architecture designs in response to rapidly changing situations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Requirements
At least 3 years of practical experience as an Android app engineer (6 years is preferable).
Experience with MVVM model.
Knowledge of Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines.
Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
Experience with unit tests to improve software quality.
Experience with code review.
Must-Have
Experience with the Android software development lifecycle.
Motivation to learn a new programming language.
English skills for business.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Interest in becoming a playing manager in the future or in management.
Nice-To-Have
Experience with clean code and readable code.
Experience in iOS & Flutter development.
Experience with using GraphQL
Experience with developing Web APIs
Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to dive into complex code/infrastructures and find the root cause.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with business and technical stakeholders as well as external customers.
Shipped one or more apps in the store.
Practical experience in team development such as Scrum or other agile development methodologies.
