Your responsibilities: 

  • Process Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve QA processes and workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality software delivery across teams.
  • Standardization: Develop and enforce QA standards, guidelines, and best practices to align testing efforts and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Automation Frameworks & Tools: Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify opportunities for process automation, testing framework enhancements, and tooling improvements.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for QA processes and provide regular metrics reporting on testing outcomes, process efficiency, and quality improvements.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to align QA processes with overall business goals and project timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending solutions to improve team productivity and software quality.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate issues related to quality assurance, release cycles, and testing efforts.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide training sessions and resources to QA and development teams to promote best practices and enhance their understanding of the QA processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to QA processes, methodologies, workflows, and lessons learned.
  • Audit & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards and compliance regulations by conducting regular audits and assessments.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on process optimization, process management, or process improvement roles.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Proven track record in improving QA processes, reducing inefficiencies, and driving quality improvements across teams.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Quality Center, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, etc.) and how to integrate them within QA processes.
  • Excellent understanding of metrics and ability to generate actionable insights from data (defect trends, testing coverage, team performance, etc.).
  • Knowledge of industry compliance standards (ISO, CMMI, GDPR, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work through complex issues and design process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with risk management and change management processes is a plus.
  • Having intermediate English skill
