Senior/Lead QA QC Engineer (Manual Testing)

Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Analyze product requirement and clarify if any questions
- Design test cases with in-depth understanding of requirements and testing techniques
- Perform testing activities from start to delivery of tasks and tracking status of found defects
- Participate in agile team to develop our high quality products
- Enhance working process and share best practices to others
- Initialize new ideas and contribute to develop QA/QC department
- Support, review and provide necessary trainings to teammates
 

Your Skills and Experience

Requirements:
(*) Must have:
- 7+ years of experience in web or mobile app testing, especially for back office application
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields
- Solid skills and knowledge of testing processes and techniques
- 3+ years leadership experience with multiple members (For Lead level only)
- Design and implement team level strategy (For Lead level only)
- Experience in working in cross functional or agile teams
- Familiar with issue and test management tools like Jira, TestRail…
- Good English communication and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive, proactive mindset with perseverance in overcoming challenges.
- A team-oriented approach, fostering a shared commitment to quality.
- Great interest in testing, open minded and able to self-motivated.

(*) Nice to have:
- Experience in API testing with Postman or other tools
- Experience in performance testing or security testing is a plus
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certificate is a plus
- Good Japanese skills, N2 or above.
