Responsibilities
- Kitting & Device Management via Jamf:
- Build, configure, and optimize automated computer deployment scenarios (Kitting/Provisioning) for macOS using Jamf systems (Jamf Pro/Jamf School).
- Ensure newly issued devices automatically install all required software, security configurations, and company policies right out of the box (Zero-touch deployment).
- Handle application packaging and push remote software updates to Mac systems via Jamf.
- IT Support & Ticketing Workflow:
- Receive, track, and resolve in-depth technical issues related to macOS and Windows (hardware, profile errors, access permissions, software conflicts) for both local and international users via Jira Service Management (JSM).
- Utilize Jira platforms to collaborate on tasks, escalate complex technical bugs, and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist users in integrating Mac computers with the internal network, office printers, file servers, and global collaboration tools.
- Administration, Security & System Communication:
- Monitor security compliance on Mac devices (FileVault, Firewall, Antivirus) through configuration profiles on Jamf.
- Work and communicate directly with Global IT teams, Regional IT teams, or foreign vendors to resolve major system issues.
- Assist with basic administration of infrastructure systems, including local networks, Linux servers, and VMware virtualization environments.
- Asset Management:
- Manage the lifecycle of Apple devices within the company from purchasing, activation on Apple Business Manager (ABM), and synchronization to Jamf, through to decommissioning.
- Track, update, and audit all corporate hardware and software assets using Jira ITAM (Assets) to maintain an accurate inventory database.
Job Requirements
- Language (Mandatory):
- Working proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Ability to explain technical issues to foreign users in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Experience & Expertise:
- Hands-on experience working with macOS or Windows using Entra ID (Azure AD) in a corporate environment (multicultural or multinational environment preferred).
- Practical experience in computer kitting, configuring, and managing devices remotely using Jamf.
- Understanding of Jamf Pro/Jamf Now operations and the connection process with Apple Business Manager (ABM).
- Proven experience working with ticketing systems, specifically Jira Service Management (JSM) and Jira workflows.
- Hands-on experience using Jira ITAM (Assets / Insight) for tracking equipment and managing IT asset inventories.
- Knowledge of application packaging (.pkg, .dmg) and basic scripting (Bash/Shell) on macOS is a strong plus.
- Have experience in automated device deployment using Entra ID (Azure AD/Intune/Autopilot) for Windows IS ACCEPTED. Candidates without prior Jamf/macOS management experience WILL BE TRAINED.
