Senior Organization Development (OD) Executive
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam | Team: Organization Development | Reports to: OD Manager
Job Overview
As a Senior OD Executive based in Hanoi, you will be the driving force behind our corporate culture and employee experience for the Hanoi office, working in close collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City (HCM) team and in alignment with the division’s overall OD strategy.
Your primary mission is to own and execute high-impact Corporate Events and embed Money Forward and MFV’s culture locally, ensuring our values come to life within the Hanoi tech community. You will also bring your broad knowledge to support Employer Branding (EB) and Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives, helping sustain a unified and thriving organizational health across both locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Culture & Corporate Events (Primary Focus – Hanoi Lead)
- Culture Champion: Act as the local custodian of Money Forward Group’s culture; find creative ways to localize these values and bring them to life within the Hanoi office.
- Event Lead: Take full ownership of planning, organizing, and executing all corporate events in Hanoi (All Hands, Year-End Parties, Company Trips, etc.) from concept to delivery, in alignment with the division’s overall OD strategy.
- Engagement & Connection: Measure and boost local employee engagement through regular surveys (e.g., eNPS, FFS – Five Factors of Satisfaction); proactively identify local needs and turn them into actionable culture-strengthening projects.
2. Employer Branding & L&D Support (Secondary Focus)
- EB Support: Partner with the HCM team to support Employer Branding and Internal Communication initiatives tailored to the Hanoi market.
- L&D Support: Assist the OD Manager in deploying L&D programs, competency matrix rollouts, and training frameworks within the Hanoi office to foster a culture of continuous learning.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
- Owns and runs the Hanoi event calendar end-to-end, with events delivered on time and on budget.
- Measurable improvement in local employee engagement (e.g., eNPS), with a clear pipeline of culture initiatives.
- Established as the trusted local point of contact for culture, events, and people experience in Hanoi, working in sync with HCM.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in OD, HR, L&D, Employer Branding, Internal Communications, or Event Management, preferably in a fast-growing environment.
- Proven track record in organizing large-scale corporate events and driving employee engagement or cultural initiatives.
- Versatile expertise: While focusing primarily on culture and events, you are knowledgeable in Employer Branding and L&D to effectively support these pillars when required.
Skills & Knowledge
- Event Management: Strong project management, organization, and execution skills to handle events flawlessly from A to Z.
- Collaboration & Remote Synergy: Able to work autonomously in Hanoi while maintaining seamless, proactive collaboration with the OD Manager and team in HCM.
- Tech-Context Fluency: Comfortable working with and for an engineering-heavy organization; you understand what motivates and engages technical and AI talent.
- Agility & Cultural Sensitivity: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to absorb, adapt, and propagate company culture quickly.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Vietnamese.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the IT/Software Product industry (understanding tech terminology and the mindset of tech talent is a strong advantage).
- Experience working in Japanese enterprises or familiarity with Japanese working culture.
