Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute performance tests using load generators.
  • Design and run fault tolerance tests/chaos experiments with fault injectors.
  • Document non-functional test results, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements with SRE.
  • Continuously improve and automate testing methodologies and practices.
  • Visualize the non-functional test results and quality via periodical non-functional tests.
  • Instruct the product side to run non-functional tests themselves.

Requirements

  • Experience with performance test tools such as JMeter, K6 or any similar tools.
  • Experience with the Fault Injection tool is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of non-functional testing principles.
  • Experience with AWS for testing and monitoring is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with scripting and basic programming.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Good English communication skill.
