JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage people in QA QC team, coach, grow and develop members
  • Plan and perform QA activities, such as quality metrics, process improvement, defect prevention actions, quality gate…
  • Create and implement test strategies for test automation and non-functional testing, including performance and security testing
  • Analyze critical incidents and plan prevention activities, such as regression testing
  • Control quality of source code, unit test and test coverage
  • Review system test cases for both functional and non-functional testing
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high quality releases
  • Participate in direct testing activities for fintech projects

REQUIREMENTS

Must-have

  • 5+ years of experience in web application testing
  • 3+ years of experience in leading or managing QA/QC teams from 10-30 engineers 
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or software related fields
  • Solid skills and knowledge of testing processes and techniques
  • Experience in test automation, including UI and API test automation, any framework is ok
  • Experience in non-functional testing, including performance testing and security testing
  • Experience in QA activities, such as metrics, code quality, defect prevention, postmortem…
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Good English communication and documentation skills
  • Great interest in testing, open minded and able to self-motivated

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in fintech domain, especially Accounting and Tax
  • Experience in mobile application testing
  • Japanese skill in any levels
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certificate
